Illinois Department of Transportation offers an interactive mapping site
that provides the ability to search and display several sources of
transportation data at:
http://www.gettingaroundillinois.com/.

If you do not see the man with shovel next to the words Road Construction you
will need to install Silverlight on your computer. This is a free application,
similar to adobe acrobat, and you only need to install it one time on each
computer you use. The necessary link for Silverlight is available at the bottom
of the page for your convenience.
To navigate through the different interactive maps available use the two arrows
under the Road Construction picture and then click on the link you wish to view.
