SPRINGFIELD, IL -- The Illinois Department of Transportation is seeking consultants for 30 highway projects across the state. Interested prequalified consultant firms may submit their statements of interest on or before June 12, 2003.

The consultants will be selected on August 13.

The projects are:

5. DISTRICT 1, land surveys at various locations throughout the district.
6. DISTRICT 1, construction inspection on various projects throughout the district.

8. WHITESIDE, Phase II Engineering for the improvement of US 30 from west of IL 78 to east of French Creek through Morrison.
9. DISTRICT 2, land surveys at various locations throughout the district.
10. WHITESIDE, land surveys along US 30 from west of IL 78 to east of French Creek through Morrision.
11. HENRY/ DE KALB/ BUREAU/ WHITSIDE/ WINNEBAGO, preparation of project reports and/or plans for five structures.
12. DISTRICT 2, Phase I and/or II engineering on various projects throughout the district.

22. TAZEWELL, construction inspection on I-74 from the Illinois River to east of Washington St. and Camp St.
23. SANGAMON / CHRISTIAN, Phase II engineering for IL 29 from south of Berry to south of Edinburg.
24. DISTRICT 7, penetrating radar bridge deck surveys throughout the district.
25. EFFINGHAM, Phase I and II engineering for the rehabilitation of I-70/57 from the north Tri-Level interchange to the south Tri-Level interchange.
26. MADISON / ST. CLAIR, Phase I and II engineering to supplement work for the new Mississippi River bridge.
27. MONROE / ST. CLAIR, land surveys along IL 158 from IL 3 in Columbia to IL 15 in Belleville.
28. STATEWIDE, photogrammetric services for the northern area of the state.
29. STATEWIDE, evaluation of aluminum highway sign truss design, and review of traffic structures standards.
30. STATEWIDE, investigation of select LRFD design factors through instrumentation of bridge bearings.
