BUREAU COUNTY, IL -- The Illinois Department of Transportation will hold an informational meeting in Princeton on May 23 to discuss the proposed improvement of US 6.

The meeting will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, at the First United Methodist Church, 316 S. Church St., in Princeton. The public is invited to attend at any time during the meeting hours.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the proposed improvement of US 6 from Main St. to 6^th St. in Princeton, and to receive public input on the proposal. Displays and exhibits will be available for public review and IDOT personnel will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.

The meeting site is accessible to disabled individuals. Anyone needing special accommodations should contact Geoff Smith at the above phone numbers at least five days prior to the meeting.
