SPRINGFIELD, IL -- The Illinois Department of Transportation is seeking consultants for 30 highway projects across the state. Pre-qualified consultants will be selected on April 14, 2004. Statements of interest were due February 19, 2004. Statements of Interest for Items 29 and 30 prior to 4:30 p.m. local time, March 17, 2004.

The projects are:

1. COOK COUNTY , engineering services for the removal and replacement of IL 7 over US 45.
2. WILL COUNTY, engineering services for improvements and related work for the Bascule bridge carrying IL 53 over the Des Plaines River.
3. DISTRICT 1, perform QA testing for Hot Mix Asphalt and Portland Cement Concrete projects.
4. DISTRICT 1, land surveying services for signboard control inventory.
5. DISTRICT 1, engineering services for the preparation for geotechnical reports.
6. DISTRICT 3, perform surveys related to land acquisition activities for various projects.
7. KANKAKEE COUNTY , engineering services for interchange reconstruction and structure replacement at Manteno Road and I-57.
8. KANKAKEE COUNTY , engineering services for reconstruction of the I-57 interchange with IL 50 at Bradley, including dual bridge replacements.
9. KENDALL COUNTY , engineering services for the reconstruction of IL 71 from Orchard Road to US 34 in Oswego.
10. GRUNDY COUNTY , engineering services for a new interchange at I-80 and Brisbin Road including replacement of the structure carrying Brisbin Road over I-80.
11. KNOX COUNTY , engineering services for the removal and replacement of the structure carrying US 150 over Henderson Creek.
12. DISTRICT 5, engineering services on various projects throughout the district.
13. DISTRICT 7, engineering services on various projects throughout the district.
14. ST. CLAIR COUNTY, provide streetscape and beautification along IL 159 in Belleville . This is an Opportunity Returns engineering project.
15. ST. CLAIR COUNTY, engineering services for work associated with construction of new alignment from East St. Louis to Collinsville including three structures. This is an Opportunity Returns engineering project.

The Bureau of Design and Environment must received Statements of Interest for Items 29 and 30 prior to 4:30 p.m. local time, March 17, 2004 . Statements of Interest received after this time will not be considered.
