SPRINGFIELD, IL -- The Illinois Department of Transportation is seeking consultants for 24 projects throughout the state. The consulting firms will be selected by a special committee on February 28.

The projects are:

1. COOK & DuPAGE, construction inspection for the reconstruction of I-290/IL 53 from IL 72 to Devon Ave.
2. COOK, plans for the replacement of the IL 83 bridge over Mill Creek.
3. McHENRY, Plans for the reconstruction of the IL 176 bridge over the South Branch of the Kishwaukee River, three miles east of IL 23; and replacement of the superstructure of the IL 176 bridge over the Kishwaukee River, one mile east of Gee Road.
4. DuPAGE, land surveying for approximately 180 parcels along US 20 from east of Rohlwing Road towest of Addison Road.
5. COOK, land surveying for approximately 200 parcels along Des Plaines River Road from US 12 to Devon Avenue.
6. DISTRICT ONE, drainage studies and hydraulic reports at various locations.
7. DISTRICT ONE, drainage studies and hydraulic reports at various locations.
8. DISTRICT ONE, project reports for various intersection and/or short roadway segment improvements.
9. DISTRICT TWO, Phase I and/or Phase II engineering work for various projects.
10. HENDERSON, plans for the proposed US 34 expressway project from west of Carman Road to east of IL 164, south of Gladstone.
11. TAZEWELL, construction inspection on IL 8 from Rosedale Road to Farm Creek tributary in East Peoria.
12. PEORIA, construction inspection for Contract 1 of the reconstruction of I-74 in Peoria.
13. PEORIA, construction inspection for Contract 2 of the reconstruction of I-74 in Peoria.
14. COLES, plans for the rehabilitation of Cook's Mill Road from .5 mile north of CH 23 to .37 mile north of the intersection with IL 121.
15. LOGAN, plans for two projects: 1) replacement of the bridge over Prairie Creek, 1 mile northwest of Hartsburg, and 2) replacement of the bridge over a tributary of Prairie Creek, .4 mile west of I-155.
16. HANCOCK & MACOUPIN, plans for the replacement of the IL 96 bridge over a drainage ditch, .2 miles south of Niota; and removal of the Old IL 4 bridge over Shearles Branch, 2 miles south of Girard, and replace it with a double box culvert.
17. DISTRICT SIX, Phase I and/or Phase II engineering work for various projects.
18. DISTRICT SIX, Phase I and/or Phase II engineering work for various projects.
19. ST. CLAIR & MADISON, subsurface investigations for overhead sign trusses and high mast light foundations as part of the reconstruction of the I-55/70/64 tri-level interchange.
20. ST. CLAIR, MADISON & ST. LOUIS, plans for the implementation of an Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) for the new river bridge, I-55/70/64 rehabilitation, I-64 extension, IL 3 relocations, and all infrastructure of the roadway system affected by these construction projects.
21. MADISON, construction inspection for IL 255 from IL 143 to IL 140.
22. MADISON, construction inspection for the new IL 255 structures over the East Fork of Wood River Creek, Culp Road, and Stutz Lane near Bethalto.
23. MADISON, construction inspection of the IL 255 structure over Fosterburg Road and the widening and resurfacing of Fosterburg Road.
24. KENDALL, alternative analysis and preliminary project design for multi-purpose dam project on the Fox River at Yorkville. This project is for the Department of Natural Resoures.
