Regional child passengers safety checks

Springfield, IL -- The Illinois Department of Transportation, with the help of local communities and volunteers, is promoting safe travel for Illinois' children by holding free safety seat inspection check points statewide February 8-14th during National Child Passenger Safety Week. Certified technicians will be on hand at these check points to properly inspect child safety seats and answer questions parents and guardians have regarding Illinois' child passenger laws.
