The
Illinois
Department
of
Transportation
will
hold
a
public
informational
meeting
in
Grafton
on
June
5
to
discuss
the
rehabilitation
of
Illinois
3.
The
meeting
will
be
held
from
4
to
7
p.m.
on
Thursday,
June
5,
at
St.
Partrick
Church
Hall,
11
N.
Evans,
in
Grafton.
The
public
is
invited
to
attend
at
any
time
during
the
meeting
hours.
The
purpose
of
the
meeting
is
to
discuss
the
rehabilitation
of
IL
3
and
to
receive
public
input
on
the
proposal.
The
proposed
improvement
runs
for
six
miles
from
east
of
Grafton
Hills
Road
to
west
of
the
intersection
with
IL
109.
The
project
will
include
widening
and
resurfacing,
shoulder
work,
and
drainage
improvements.
Displays
and
project
information
will
be
available
for
public
review
at
the
meeting
and
representatives
from
IDOT
and
the
project
consultant
will
be
available
to
discuss
the
project
and
answer
questions.
The
meeting
site
is
accessible
to
disabled
individuals.
