Welcome to the Illinois GIS Transportation Coalition!

IDOT is taking a leadership role in Illinois government to develop a GIS group focused on Transportation. The Illinois GIS Transportation Coalition will be a focal point for all GIS users as well as other GIS Data Providers. IDOT envisions the Illinois GIS Transportation Coalition as being a place to share information between all levels of government.

IDOT has developed a Microsoft Share Point Technologies collaboration environment explicitly focused on GIS for data sharing and knowledge transfer and to cultivate creativity among the state and local government GIS Community.
