COOK COUNTY, IL -- The Illinois Department of Transportation
will hold a public meeting in Burbank on May 29 to discuss the development
of a potential roadway corridor along Central Avenue and/or Narragansett
Avenue.
The public meeting will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May
29 at Reavis High School, 6034 W.77th Street, in Burbank. The public
is invited to attend at any time during the meeting hours.
The purpose of the public meeting is to discuss a potential roadway
corridor along Central Avenue and/or Narragansett Avenue, and to
receive public input on the proposal. The corridor will span the
Belt Railway Co. of Chicago and the CSX Intermodal Rail Yards between
65th St. and 87th St. in Chicago, Bedford Park and Burbank.
An audio-visual presentation will be shown every half hour with
the last showing at 7 p.m. Exhibits will be on display and IDOT
personnel will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.
The meeting site is accessible to disabled individuals. Anyone
