Final Public Hearing for Proposed Dan Ryan Expressway
(I-94/90)
Reconstruction Project to be Held on May 9
COOK COUNTY, IL -- The Illinois Department of Transportation will
hold a third and final public hearing on Friday, May 9 to discuss
the proposed improvement of the Dan Ryan Expressway
(I-94/90) from 31st Street to the I-57/Bishop Ford (I-94) interchange
in Chicago.
It will be held from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on May 9, at Northeastern
Illinois University, Center for Inner City Studies, 700 East Oakwood
Boulevard, Chicago, Illinois, 60653. Parking is available in lot
off Langley Avenue north of Oakwood Boulevard.
The purpose of the hearing is to present the purpose and need for
the improvement, to present the proposed improvement plans, and
to obtain public comment.
The public is invited to attend at any time during the hearing
hours. The hearing will be done in an open house format.
An audio-visual presentation will be shown every hour on the hour
with the last showing beginning at 7:00 PM. Exhibits will be on
display for public review and IDOT personnel will be available to
discuss the project and answer questions.
The hearing site is accessible to disabled individuals. Anyone
needing special assistance or a sign language interpreter should
