Public Hearing Scheduled On Dan Ryan
Expressway Improvements
CHICAGO, IL -- The Illinois Department of Transportation has
scheduled a public hearing on April 22nd to discuss the improvement
of I-90/94 (Dan Ryan Expressway) from 31st Street in Chicago to the
I-57 interchange.
A public hearing will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April
22, at Kennedy-King Community College, Room 1W10 International Hall,
6838 S. Wentworth Ave., Chicago. Parking is available off 69th
Street west of Wentworth Ave.
The public is invited to attend at any time during the hearing
hours. There will be no formal public presentation.
The purpose of the hearings is to present the purpose and need
for the reconstruction work planned for the Dan Ryan and to obtain
public input on the plans. An audio-visual presentation will be
shown every half-hour with the last showing at 7:30 p.m. Exhibits
will be on display for public review and IDOT personnel will be
available to discuss the project and answer questions.
The hearing site is accessible to disabled individuals. Anyone
