How are we structured?

OQCR’s responsibilities are tasked to 2 Bureaus
 

• Bureau of Construction Compliance - The Bureau of Construction Compliance monitors all facets of construction projects including materials, quantities, quality and overall contractor and department personnel compliance through the use of announced and unannounced site visits and documentation reviews to IDOT highway construction sites, bituminous plants, and to IDOT operations facilities as necessary. The Bureau also works to evaluate the adequacy of controls and develops recommendations for improvements to processes and procedures.
   
• Bureau of Fiscal Integrity & Investigations - The Bureau of Fiscal Integrity & Investigations performs routine and non-routine audits, reviews and investigations of contractors, vendors, Department personnel and others to verify costs, investigate alleged wrongdoing and suspected fraud, evaluate the adequacy of controls and develop recommendations for improvements to processes and procedures.
