The Illinois Center for Transportation (ICT) is
headquartered at the Advanced Transportation Research
and Engineering Laboratory, a part of the University of
Illinois at Urbana-Champaign’s Department of Civil &
Environmental Engineering.
Under a cooperative agreement with the Illinois
Department of Transportation (IDOT), the center is
administered by the university and provides state of the
art facilities for research, and training of
transportation professionals in both the private and
public sectors; as well as providing research
opportunities for students.
