IDOT Reschedules Public Meeting
The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) is hosting a public information meeting for the Illinois State Rail Plan. IDOT is seeking public input on the current and future passenger and freight rail needs within the state.

*This meeting has been scheduled to replace the February 29, 2012 event in Marion, IL.
This meeting will be an open house format; interested persons can attend anytime during the scheduled meeting time. Attendees will have the opportunity to view study exhibits and speak with IDOT
and study team representatives on a one-on-one basis.
IDOT Schedules Public Meetings
The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) has scheduled a series of ten Public Information Meetings to gain public input on the current and future passenger and freight rail needs within the State. The Illinois State Rail Plan will identify anticipated trends, needs and issues that will affect rail service and demand over the next two or three decades and provide a long range investment program framework for meeting the various needs.
