Overview of Ethics Training
Office of the Chief Counsel
On
January 23, 2003,
the Governor issued
Executive Order No. 5
– Mandating Ethics Training for all state employees.
There are a number of
laws and Executive Orders in effect in the State of Illinois which establish
ethical standards and provide penalties for violation of these laws and
Executive Orders. This training will ensure that all IDOT employees are
fully aware of their ethical duties, responsibilities and the penalties for
violations.
