This 2009 Annual Report illustrates IDOT’s continual movement forward. Today’s goals for transportation in Illinois revolve around improved safety, improved mobility, preservation of our priceless intermodal transportation system, and the proper stewardship of that system to improve quality of life and economic prosperity throughout the state.
