SRA Resources
The following Strategic Regional Arterial (SRA) resources are
related to small-area traffic projections
that Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) develops for transportation
implementing agencies based on their most recent regional travel-demand
analysis.
Each traffic projection includes a check on whether the
project is on an SRA route. If the project is on an SRA Route, CMAP
informs the requestor and suggest that they review the recommendations contained
therein.

During the decade of the 90's,
the Illinois Department of Transportation studied and produced reports on most
of the Strategic Regional Arterial system. The reports have been converted
